Most people with mental illness aren't in institutions. They live next door.

MHA-Triad is:

A Volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to developing programs that address many of the mental health needs of the citizens of Guilford County

A Service provider that works to assure the  mentally ill who live in our community have accessible and appropriate mental health services.

A Promoter of mental wellness through prevention, education, advocacy, development of support groups, and fostering the appropriate treatment and resources for those suffering from mental illness and their families.

A Catalyst for improving diagnosis, care and treatment for adults with mental illness and reducing the stigma of mental illness.

Sponsors
Mental Health Associates of the Triad is a non-profit organization, and the tax-deductible contributions of its donors is a necessary component of its income. We serve those in need from all areas of Guilford County and parts of Davidson and Randolph counties.

Each summer, Mental Health Associates of the Triad sponsors the Yellow Bandana event. This fundraiser provides a time for all to come together in support of the efforts of the MHA-Triad, and in support of all whose lives have been affected by those struggling with mental health challenges.

Sponsors and donors of the Yellow Bandana event make this all possible.
